Sydney Film Festival is a staple on the NSW event calendar, entertaining audiences with the best of international and local cinema over a 12-day festival. In 2025, SFF had a record-breaking year with 150,000 tickets sold to 242 films.

ORBIT produced The Hub in 2024 and 2025, which operated over the festival period as a meeting place for film fans and industry professionals, hosting talks, events and sponsorship activations in Sydney Lower Town Hall. The space transformed from day to night with interchangeable walls, bar service points and seating layouts to best serve the diverse audiences flowing through the venue.

In 2025, ORBIT also delivered the Program Launch, Opening and Closing night events, activated Martin Place for SFFTV presented by Norwegian Cruise Lines, and filled the role of Show Caller for Hideo Kojima and George Miller in Conversation, presented by Sony PlayStation & Sydney Film Festival.
