The Secrets of Dawn Exhibition, created by Coota Girls Aboriginal Corporation, features content from Dawn Magazine alongside contemporary works from Coota Girls survivors and descendants as physical evidence of the calculated efforts and propaganda used by previous governments under the Aborigines Protection Act (1909-1969) to progress the agenda of assimilation of First Nations people.

ORBIT worked alongside curator Dennis Golding and the Coota Girls organisation to project manage this important, truth-telling exhibition in 2024 including artwork and artefact installation, show flow, venue coordinator, and technical management. The exhibition is being re-staged in 2025, with a tour of regional centres planned for 2026.
