Part of the Open Streets program in 2024, Strathfield City Council conceptualised a new event called Winter Warmer in the Square and came to ORBIT to produce their vision. Our team worked closely with council on the goals of the event, and then presented a creative direction and site layout which remained consistent with the winter-theme, while bringing in a recreational focus that was requested by the local community.

The event included a stage program of local independent artists, DJs and a special performance by the library choir, a winter-themed roller rink, artisan markets and food stalls, external trading of businesses on the closed roads, basketball clinic, table tennis tables, and kids craft workshops.
