ORBIT conceptualised and pitched the concept of a pop-up roller rink to PMNSW post-COVID lockdowns and, with their support, was able to create a dazzling community activation running for five weeks in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

Darling Harbour Rollerama catered for beginners to pros, young to old. With event partners Malt Shop Rollers and their experienced coaching staff, attendees could rent quad or in-line skates or bring their own, dipping into a nostalgic activity in the public domain. Live DJ sets, demonstrations from recreational skating groups, RollerFit classes and one-on-one coaching saw many return customers, adding up to 40,000 tickets sold and many happy families.

Darling Harbour Rollerama enlivened the precinct which saw increased footfall to local businesses.
